The learning journey with Josy in Geistlich myGuide® starts with a general overview on biomaterial selection, focusing on bone graft material and barrier membranes, as well as soft tissue graft materials. This will set the stage for diving into the details on treatment options for the perio patient.

Josy - The Perio Patient
- Josy, our next patient on the learning journey, suffers from compromised periodontal health and needs tissue regeneration around her natural dentition. Biological and clinical aspects of the width and the thickness of keratinized tissue in the posterior and anterior regions are explained, as well as background about and the treatment of periodontitis, surgically and non-surgically. The treatment of gingival recessions as well as the treatment of infrabony defects are featured in complete detail through a clinical video.
- The chapter on Josy, our perio patient includes 12 e-learning modules, 2 clinical full-length videos, 1 Geistlich vLab® hands-on workshop and 1 assessment module.
